Suspended ceiling in Brisbane
This is a suspended ceiling in Brisbane I recently built at a school . At suspended ceilings QLD, we travel all over the state installing ceilings. The majority of our work in based around the Brisbane and surrounding areas. Whilst we love installing ceilings around the Brisbane area, we do enjoy travelling to the far reaches of Qld for larger ceiling projects. This ceiling pictured has been constructed using Armstrong exposed ceiling grid and fitted with a high NRC acoustic mineral fibre tiles. The ceilings pictured used an aluminium shadow line wall angle around the perimeter, for that designer finish. The above substrate is concrete and is suspended by masonry anchors on 5mm steel rods. The cavity above is less than 150mm making installation of the grid difficult. This also complicates the installation of the tiles, making it critical to use an experienced installer.
The end result is fantastic! Not only does the client have a clean looking ceiling, with high levels of workmanship. They also have a ceiling which is both serviceable and offers outstanding sound absorption.
