Suspended ceiling in Caboolture

New drop ceiling for Caboolture community group

Our latest suspended ceiling in Caboolture is for a local community group. Whether you call it a suspended ceiling, drop ceiling, false ceiling, it’s all the same type of ceiling. Our client requested this ceiling to create a cost-effective space for air conditioning and to hold services.

The build

The ceilings pictured had a 3-meter drop with a dividing partition through the middle of the ceiling. Our client expressed initial concern that the divider might be an issue. However, we deal with scenarios like this one all the time. Current laser level technology allows transferring lines easily from area to area. This, in turn, keeps the ceiling lines straight even despite their separation through the middle. 

This suspended ceiling system used is USG/Boral Donn grid. We chose Donn grid for this new suspended ceiling in Caboolture for the following reasons. Firstly, it’s an established company, ensuring support, and spares in the years to come. Secondly, they have an engineering service to assist with seismic builds. Finally, it’s easy to install and looks great. The Donn system is owned by a company called Rondo. Rondo has a reputation for providing quality steel products in the building industry. 

This isn’t the first suspended ceiling in Caboolture Suspended Ceilings Qld have built. Based on the local climate and various factors; USG Impressions was chosen for this particular ceiling. This tile is a very cost-effective tile, meaning it’s great for larger areas to keep a job on budget.  However, this doesn’t mean that this tile doesn’t perform.
